Hi this is a random request but would any one be willing to drive my son to his school prom in their classic, sporty, posh or just drop dead gorgeous car? We live in Dereham, Norfolk and the prom is about 3 miles away in Swanton Morley. It is on the 2nd July and between about 6.30 and 7.15. A member has offered to do this but he lives quite far from me and suggested I put a message on here to see if anyone nearer can help.I am willing to cover any fuel cost but because we are at the lower end of the finnancial scale I am unable to afford a hire car. Please email. pinky39@sky.com

Thanks for reading this

Sorry, i'd genuinely like to help but i'm at the Norfolk Show.

I hope someone can, I only said to the wife the other day it'd be nice to help out with a wedding or summer ball (assuming the car would have been of interest of course hehe)

Just looked at your car and my sons words were "Sexy car!" I think it would have been perfect but alas unavailable. Thanks for your reply any way.

I didn't know we had 'school proms' in the UK. Is this a new development?

Hi Heather does your Son need to take a date to this Prom, in the same car? Obviously this may limit your choice of vehicle! tank ?

I live near Bury St Edmunds , so am probably not the closest, but if no one nearer can help, i will try to.

hi Heather,

I am very near as I live in Hockering. I have a gorgeous Tuscan MK1 in Reflex Green with purple leather interior, which makes lots of lovely noise and really turns heads.

heres a Linky to my blog http://tvrchimaera400.blogspot.com/ Though it doesn't really show the colour off very well.

From the blog you can get an impression of the noise from the links to YouTube.

If your son likes it then PM me and we'll thrash out the details.
