While driving along the A14 eastbound, between the A14/A11 junction and Stow Cum Quy junction, I saw a man in a field playing the bagpipes!biggrin

On his own and he was walking up and down parallel with the road. I went back down about three hours later and he was still there. WTF is that all about? confused

would you want to live next to a man that plays them in his front room???

I see him loads as i'm up and down that road day in day out. Fair play to him for being considerate of his neighbours!!

The birds must have got used to the scarecrows. No earth dwelling creature, winged or legged, can get within 100 feet of a set of operational bagpipes without psychological damage

I second that.

No wonder they used to play them marching into battle!

Got stopped there "possesion of a bike with intent to use it" and the plodder asked to see my Passport. I reminded him it was Suffolkshire not Spain. Had to go to Ipswitch with the producer.

Too busy looking at the policing on the cheap scamera van sitting in the layby at rush hour. Normally at this time the traffic can only move at 60mph at most because of bored lorry drivers lane blocking, but yesterday it was flowing quite well apart from mostly female drivers who are eithe unable to see in their rear view mirrors, or able to judge speed and distance , or just thick! Probably all three.
