Anyone spotted the Tango Orange GT kicking about?

Sounds great and is based north of Norwich City Centre - not wanting to give exact locals away!

I've seen it, and I'm afraid to say it's a kit car, based on a Boxster!

Spotted this last weekend near Sprowston and sorry I can't agree with you, it looks bloody awful, the proportions are all wrong the windscreen too steep and sounds terrible.

But I have to admire someone who puts in that amount of effort for their dream car so I can't knock that unless it's a commercial venture then all I can say is 'Good luck'

Indeed, it would take alot of time and skill to create a whole new bodyshell for a car.
I can't seem to find it, but I know the car was under discussion over on the PH Porsche forum. The guy is signed up to PH, IIRC.
Also, I think it is/was a business venture, although I could be wrong.

It might be a fake guys but I bet this owner pulls off being a genuine GT owner to 90% of the public. I kinda think it looks 'get awayable with' although I don't know how much they cost!

Seen it knocking about, just doesn't look right. Why orange? I don't think that was even an option on the GT was it? Reminds me of those 355 Mr2 kits you see around!

TechArt did an orange Carrera GT http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/top-2007-TechArt...

And I think there was one official orange car from the factory.

Neither of which looked anything like the above abomination.

In all honesty, I think it sounds fairly good. I know it's not the right sound or look/shape, but the noise it produces is quite nice smile

That's the problem though, eh?

The real one sounds like the arrival of Satan in his chariot, a noise to remember in years to come, and makes small children cry.

Arash has one in Cambridge.

It very niiice

The owner goes to a gym near Asda on the ring road. The first time I saw it I was taken in for no more than a couple of seconds. The badge on the back looked like it was going to fall off and it wasn't even straight. The biggest giveaway was the fact there was no wooden gear leaver.

However, this car is driven a lot and if he likes it then fair play, it's not my cup of tea though.

I've seen it there too and another "not my cup of tea" from me.

It appears the car was discussed by the owner in General Gassing a while ago!

As previously mentioned, don't forget to check out The Company's Websitewink

Mate if you got close enough to see that before you sussed him out, it's a good rep!
