Hello Guys and Girls.
I've decided to change my log in to something a little more appropriate.
Therefore the PH'er formally known as r3nuf is now Demolitionman13. Some of you may know why that is appropriate wink

The other change in my life is that my Luego kit car has been sold and i have just put my money down on this...

Its an 06 Elise 111R in Solar Yellow. I'm having the wheels sprayed black before it gets delivered this week.
I test drove this and a Chrome Orange Exige S2 which was also amazing. In the end, the easy removal of roof, slightly softer ride and general practicality won the day.

Hope you dont mind me posting this, its a good way of controlling my excitement bounce

Hopefully see you at an event soon.

Nice choice...

Don't understand your old logon let alone your new one!

Looks like you got a little frisky with the clutch pedal in the showroom and T-boned her onto the pillar!!LOL

Look forward to you bringing her along on a trip this year.

Cheers for the positive comments Chaps!

Steve Keay ...will catch up with with you next weekend for a blat.

Stevo...yep i probably am getting softer. Hopefully she will look a little more hardcore with some black wheels and a few bits of carbon fibre..lol. but yes i definitely intend to do some track days in her.

Neil...If i told you my Surname is Renouf ...does that help biggrin (R3NUF is on my mrs car), plus i have an alternative plate (R6NUF) to put on the Elise when i get the V5, which would have confused some of you even more! tehe!
I didn't manage to hit the pillar in the elise , but as we came back into the dealers car park i managed to scrape the Exiges front splitter nicely. The salesman said "it's ok they only cost £80". Whoops!

See you all soon

Arhhhh - all becomes clearer.

excellent salesman stter moment when you boned the splitter......his thought process being:" If this B******d doesn't buy this car now my bks are for the high jump"biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Wifey done the alloy in when test driving the Ferrari 360 we bought. Salesman pretended he didn't notice.....bad girl!!

As Steve said, you can't beat a yellow sports car! Nice choice, hope to see it soon, yes definitely get those alloys painted black. Matt black better than gloss IMHO. hehe

Why the 13 on the end of your username though?

Maybe, just maybe the "but as we came back into the dealers car park i managed to scrape the Exiges front splitter nicely" explains something Hannah

Nice car (and being considerably older than most of you) I reckon I'd have had that one too.

(nowt wrong with BRG sporty cars either though, he mumbled)

Well Hannah....13 is normally my lucky number, has been most of my life, except just at the moment i hit the ramp slightly too hard at the Lotus Dealers in the Exige ...hehe

I didn't want to have to leave the EA yellow car club, when i sold my kit! biggrin
