Looking for two new tyres for the family Disco3...Want to keep a mathcing set so after Pirelli Scorpion's in 255 x 55 x 19R's..

Got a couple of quotes from local (to me) places including a laughable one from Hunters...

Anyone got any recommendations for a good supplier...

Cheers...

I know Scorpions for the RR Sport have increased dramatically over the last few months.
In December we bought a tyre for £155. When I had a couple of flats in March, I went back to the same Kwit Fit. The cheapest they could do it for was £205! They said they didn't understand why they were so much more, but also mentioned they were having trouble buying them in, as Perelli had decreased production.
So maybe getting a bargin at the moment just isn't possible.

I'm afraid I can't help with a supplier, Kev frown

Blackcircles.com seems to have them for £185.69 fully fitted per tyre.

Not sure whether that is competitive or not?

Best price so far is £180.55 each inc VAt and fitting etc....best price I have found even on the net. The guys over on Disco3.co.uk havent been able to match it.....Wymondham Tyre Services it is then....

Yes, tried Scole but best they could do was £188 each so I guess the £180 is a 'decent' price..

Sounds about right then. I only ever use Scole as they look after the wheels and torque everything up properly.
