I saw the un-marked silver Mondeo ST220 pulling someone over yesterday on the A47 near Hockering.
If anyone gets nicked, just say you're me. I'm on first-name terms with most of the cops round here wink

I was out a couple of Saturdays back, minding my own business wafting along the clear Bungay->Norwich road when I came to some traffic. A minute later, plod comes absolutely hammering up to within a couple of feet of me! Looked like he was after someone, but just followed me for ages before turning off. After that I saw another four police cars on my way to Attleborough.

Reckon they were having a purge that night too.

Having just returned from Spain I can tell you that getting pulled over by plod is worse there than here! They seem to target Brit' cars too asking for your passport, which you must carry as the driver and your yellow safty waistcoat. Just don't get caught speeding over there.

Did you try telling them that we paid for their roads out of our EU membership? Hence as they're British property and you're British you can do what the heck you like with them biggrin

I like your train of thought John and tempting as it was to 'give them some Brit' gip' I thought better of it. Better to supp Sangria on yer balcony than water in thier cells. Welcome to Espania Signor, now what can with nick you for

Yes. Saying 'Nelson 23, Armada 0!' probably wouldn't go down too well. Still, you can always get him for Racism under the Human Rights Act, and then the Spanish Government will send you a cheque for £1M.

Well probably not, but we can dream smile

Just a quickie but if you see an unmarked car with plain clothes Police in it, don't post the details here on anywhere else. They would be unlikely to pull you over and you could be unwittingly be putting them or an operation in danger.

Mondeo ST220 0-60 in 6.8sec and limited to 151mph. It has traction control so if the plod nail it the power will just wind back.

Plus they seem to be getting a bit "lardy" - must be all that protective clothing; got to be worth half a second though - LOL

Interesting, private plates and 54 plate un-marked plod. Will have to review my decision making system about what's likely to be one of 'them' frown
