New Lamb For The Slaughter.........
Discussion
God I hope I've spelt slaughter correctly! Anyways, hi, my name is Churchy, well, its how I'm known at least. I've popped over from the Norfolk RSOC site ( www.rsnorfolk.co.uk ), where one of your chaps came over and talked about your local Pistonhead meet you held recently, which involved a trip to the chippy, what could be better? I've had a look at the pics on the related thread, and would love to attend the next meet, and see some stunning cars in the flesh, and maybe sit in one or two and have my pic taken when the driver isn't looking
Anyway, I have a Sapphire Cosworth 4x4, which is currently running a 370bhp, a genuine 370bhp, which in comparison to most of the cars on here, is pretty poo, but it still makes for a very good road car imo. I've had it since 2004, and was totally standard when I bought it, which is a little different to how it is now, but if I start talking about it, I'll send everyone off to sleep after my first post (it's normally by the 3rd).
Be gentle with me, until I'm broken in a bit first at least!

Hi Churchy
Welcome to the Farmer's area of Pistonheads
Don't worry about "only" having 370bhp!!! That's 120bhp more than I have.
Monthly meets are on the last Sunday of the month. This month I believe it is in Suffolk (Stanton, Rose and Crown), next month it will be in Norfolk somewhere. I'm sure Darren (iluvmercs) will be along shortly with more details.
There'll probably be some more runs later in the year (when I can be arsed to plan them (other people are also free to organise them, hint, hint!)), which you'll be welcome to attend. There are also a number of shows Pistonheads East Anglia attend and the track day at RAF Marham (normally happens twice a year).
Keep an eye on the board or when you can PM (there is a delay of a week or so after signing up) send you details to Darren and John to be put on the events mailing list.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Mark, I will send my details off once I'm allowed Can't wait to come along to the next meet!!!
I've never been next to a TVR when I've been out in the taxi, get cut up by every sports car under the sun when I'm driving the Tranny or the runaround, but as soon as I wheel the saff out, everyone disappears, always lol! It'd be great to have a breakdown buddy though
