Hi Everyone,Ive arranged a new PH Roadshow event at Foxhall International Raceway Ipswich.Unlike most roadshow events there's racing to watch as well.The race crowd will be viewing our cars both before and during the racing.As its a paying audience normal Roadshow rules re. type of car apply. The PHEA stand has room for 20 cars and will be behind the bar in a small grass area, and we will be flying the Pistonhead banner
We need to be in the stadium by 12.00 noon, as the cars cant be moved when the public are inside the stadium.Racing starts at 2.30pm and there is a practice session beforehand. Ive arranged that drivers of the vehicle get free entry but passengers (sorry) £12 for adults, £6 OAP's and children.
The formulas racing are:
National Hot Rods .. These are the pinnacle of oval racing in this country, space-framed, kevlar bodied saloons, 2ltr engines with over 200bhp lapping the 1/4 mile oval in just over 14 secs
Stock Rods.. Front wheel drive, mainly Nova's usually a large field with fast and close racing
Bangers... heavy contact racing
Just a thought if we have 20 cars and we are all prepared to pay £10 each we could sponsor a race (including trophy) then we can have a raffle and whoever wins can hand over the trophy to the race winner and have a ride On the back of the pace car with the winner for a lap of the track, this is only a thought, but if we decided on this I would need to know fairly sharpish.

The meetings usually last around 3 1/2hrs, so should be out by half six at the latest. would be great to see the Viper there
