And what fking prick had the bright idea of putting traffic lights on the approach to Sunny Hunny? They were causing delays already, god only knows what they'll do when summer gets here! Idiots punch

At a guess she's probably blind.

It's the lead of the guide dog that she's holding in her left hand that gave it away for me... biggrin

Next week they start charging bikes to park on the prom'. Should be a laugh. The traffic lights are there because of the four fatal accidents at that junction in the last five years. With CCTV back up in case you skip an amber.

I think they were charging this weekend by the looks of it... That junction should have been a roundabout if that was the case, 50% dead time is going to have the traffic backed up to god knows where in summer!

Traffic lights are horrendous for sure, they argue it is to allow Heacham residents to get out of the village and they couldnt afford a roundabout!!

As for parking charges, refuse to pay, the council has to apply for change of use to allow a parking charge, they have not done this. I have never paid there and never will, the guy will ask for payment, say NO, he wil say you are required to pay, say NO and tell him why, he is charging you illegally, he may say that it is a voluntary payment, so say yer not payin, or he may say that he wil report your number and send you a fine, tell him that it is unlawful for the council to apply to the dvla for your name and address when you have not commited an offence, by this time he wil give up.
As far as I am aware things are stil the same this year, so up to you if you try! Dont blame me if not but I know I wont ever pay. The bikes take in a lot of revenue to the cafes and burger bars, are also an attraction in there own right, so stuff the stupid council I say......soapboxsmile

Sunny hunny is a dive of the highest order even the water is crunchy! Why ever anyone goes there that doesn't wind or kitesurf is beyond me. There are much nicer places only 10 minutes away.

The payment for bikes on the prom has always been an issue. The Beach Patrol guys are job sharing the collection this year, be gentle. ;-)

Agreed, full of scrawny chavs and single mum's. Nasty place.
