PHEA Event: RAF Lakenheath Car & Bike Show - 9 May 2008

Guys and Gals!
Here we have "iluvmercs"'s first attempt at organising PHEA's attendance at a show, so here goes!

I received the following email from the organiser of the Lakenheath Show.

Email From The Organiser said:

Hi Everyone,
I'm sorry if you are receiving this email and have already entered, but my p.c.
has been playing up and some of you haven't received the initial email or a
receipt from me.

Car & Bike Show at RAF Lakenheath - Saturday 9th May 2008, 10 - 3 p.m.

It will follow the same lines as last year's Car Show, with a Craft Fair /food
booth/bouncy castle and sunshine (I hope).
We will have displays from Santa Pod raceway, Ravenwood - custom Model A and
superbikes and Rapid GB will be bringing out their "Dyno" rolling road
horsepower tester
I need ALL entries back to me by 12 April at the latest - the sooner the better,
and if you know of anyone that is not on this email that would be interested,
please let them know.

The prizes will be for :

Best Paint
Best Interior
Competitor's Choice
Ugliest Car

The Dodge Viper section will be attending this show and so far we have about 10 cars going so should be a good event. We are submitting details direct to the organiser. I didn't know about the rolling road which is a bonus and should make the day interesting.

That would have been my brother.He lives there.And has the car at the moment.

**UPDATE!!**

Righty guys, another update for you all.
I've emailed Leatherman asking if he'd like the Vipers all to join us, so I'll see what he says

I received an email from Keith requesting a Passport number OR National Insurance number, for drivers and passengers.
He did mention that he had sent everyone an email in the PHEA , so this is to check that you all received said email.

An RV point will be post on this thread during next week
