Our local has closed

Yes its true, our local pub, The Beaconsfield Arms, closed its doors for the last time at the end of November. Its an Freehold Pub so I guess it will be on the open market for sale soon. Anyone want to buy an boozer?

Same here the my local has gone.

Pubs have been in decline since the TV ownership became popular.

I very much doubt we will have pubs at all in say 50-100 years.
