Do any of you Suffolk guys know anything about The Grand Touring Club UK, classic car hire in Stowupland?

Sorry no, but their site is easy to find: www.grandtouringclub.co.uk/

Maybe try General Gassing?

Nothing specific I just think it's nice to hear any personal views if possible.

It's irrelevant now anyway as I was wanting to hire an MG TD for my Dad's 80th Birthday present but unfortunately the company's insurers won't insure him due to his age.frown

Back to the drawing board now present wise!

I run a classic car hire company - The Open Road (hence me knowing the guys at GTC) and the insurers set a maximum age of 70. I have known them extend it a couple of years but never as far as 80 so I am afraid that anyone thinking of hiring a classic for anyone much over 70 won't get anywhere.
