Hurrah! As promised here is the list of all the Shows and Events that the PHEA Roadshow will be attending this year. We have some established shows that have consistently proved popular, and also some news ones to add some extra variety.

Sunday 3 May: Duxford Spring Car Show. £9 per person.
http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/server/show/conEvent.280...

Saturday 9 May: Lakenheath

Sunday 19 July: Kimbolton

Sunday 28 June: Newmarket Two Counties Motor Show
http://www.twocounties-motorshow.org.uk/default.as...

There are two major shows on Sunday 2 August, so we'll attend whichever one attracts the most interest:
Helmingham Festival of Classics and Sports Cars. www.helmingham.com
Duxford Classic Car Show. £9 per person.
http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/server/show/conEvent.280...

Sunday 30 August: Stamford www.sjmmarsh.f2s.com/carshow.htm

BH Monday 31 August: Lavenham Rare Breeds Motor Show. Entry free with suitable car.
www.lavenham.co.uk/motor-show/ (2009 show not officially launched yet)

Sunday 6 September: Norwich Gala Day

Each show will be individually announced nearer the date, with full details, but you can book a place at any show right now if you prefer - just post below or PM me and I'll start to build up attendance lists.

On top of all that there are the monthly meets, so you certainly won't be short of things to do! We look forward to a busy and succesful year and to meeting many established PHEA'ers and also new faces smile

Thank you! There are some lovely shows to choose from! Shame the Helmingham and Duxford shows are scheduled the same day? Helmingham was a lovely day out (especially the yummy cream tea! lick), but I have not been to the Duxford show, so it may have to be the latter...scratchchin

I'd love to come along to the first Duxford event but am unfortunately away in the Peaks that weekend. Is the 2nd one (if it goes ahead as most popular) open to all cars or just classics? ie/ would a 2004 TVR be OK to show?

Thanks for your interest - I've mailed them and will let you know. That may be the one that gets replaced with Helmingham, we'll decide later.

They also appear to have a Spring car show...
Hope this is helpful. nerd

BTW Will all the exhibitors and car types be mixed? wink

Thanks guys - keep 'em coming!

Sometime before 30 April we'll need to decide whether we go to Duxford or Helmingham - whichever gets the most interest will win smile

It was actually sunny (for a bit) this morning - I'd forgotten what it looked like!

Yeah, a few in fact. Go here http://www.phea.co.uk/ and look at the PH Roadshow link for examples.

Duxford says: 'it's fine if there are a few modern TVRs.' So you're clear!

Yes siree, two stonkers: one about 10 foot high that takes six blokes to put up, and a low one that's easier to put up but has a nasty habit of nipping fingers, ow.

Thanks very much to all who've signed up so far - I'm keeping a careful list, and each Show will be posted separately later in its own thread with more info and a booking deadline. This thread is just an 'early-warning' to help you plan your holidays wink
