The first thing I must say is that I have thought long and very hard before typing this.

Anyone who has been on the forums in the last few days will be very aware of the threads I have started and the comments I have made on other threads. It would appear that free speech and questions are no longer allowed in the PHEA group without firstly getting approval for what you intend to put from our leader. There was me thinking this was a 'public' forum.

Since I stood down just before Christmas I have had one thread deleted and yesterdays closed without any discussion, by Simpo Two for no reason that I can see. Read the thread yourselves, was anything posted not allowed in the PH rules ?

I cannot now see any other option than me leaving the group as I can no longer deal with John's 'problem' with me.

I therefore would like to ask if anyone would be interested in attending a Lincs / Norfolk PH group if I were to start things rolling ? Intially it would be to have a monthly pub meet in the area (as PHEA) and if enough interest was shown, to attend a few shows and arrange a few runs out around the area.

So there you have it, time for me to move on. Life too short for the sort of grief I,m currently getting. I,m not asking anyone to pick between me and John, if people wish to attend both groups thats fine with me.

I fully expect this thread to be locked or deleted shortly, so feel free to email me directly instead. This really is a very sad day for me.

That's the general idea Phil. I would always attend the Stamford show. I will be attending Lakenheath along with the PH Viper boys.

Hi Ian,

I should be moving to St Neots soon but count me in. It's not that far and it's a good bunch of folks.

I have no problem with that - do what you like. But since PHEA was recently split into 'north' and 'south' specifically to make things easier for those in the north who complained that Bury was too far, does this mean there are effectively three groups, or shall we put PHEA back to one region centred somewhere near Bury St Edmunds?

So - do we have a Lincs/Norfolk meets for northerners, run by Ian V, and Suffolk/Essex meets run by Darren?

I think, no I'm sure this needs posting....

If we all chatted down the pub about this, would we be like this? Of course not.

Ok, if we'd all had 5+ pints of scrumpy maybe, but then none of us would remember anyway. Actually I'm getting a hangover just thinking about it.

Guys, Guys........... fk - I only thought women done this. All I know is I can only resolve issues with my customers (spending over £50k with me) is to quietly sit down and talk about it. But it will only work if both parties really want to resolve the problem.

You both seem to be local icons so to me, even if you do start another area (which is convenient to me, but would stay with both) I would think its important for us all to get on. Come on guys ....... I'll referee if I have tootongue outtongue outtongue outtongue out

p.s. I'm in Lincs so would be up for it more than having to travel all the way to Bury.

Slightly off topic, but in the Lotus7 club, it is quite a way to any of the area meetings from where I am in Stamford.

So I mapped out a 40 mile radius from each of the nearest meetings.

Map of meetings

It seems that I am 40 miles from all of them.....
