Following on from my thread about events this year, I received an email from Keith at USAF Lakenheath a few weeks ago regarding a car show they are holding in May. It will be of a similar format to the one a few of us attended at Mildenhall last September.

Below is the email contents :

Happy New Year to all,

I am organizing another Car & Bike Show at RAF Lakenheath this spring - Saturday 9th May 2008, 10 - 3 p.m.

It will follow the same lines as last year's Car Show, with a Craft Fair / displays/food booth/bouncy castle and sunshine (I hope). I will be sending out more detailed information in March - I need ALL entries back to me by 12 April, and if you know of anyone that is not on this email that would be interested, please let them know.

The prizes will be for :

Best Paint

Best Interior

Competitor's Choice

Ugliest Car

I'll need the following information when entering:

Make:

Model:

Year:

Colour:

Registration #:

Name:

Passenger Names:

Contact Email:

Address (non US ID card holders only):

Post Code:

Telephone #:

Regards

Keith Beaumont
I will more than likely be attending this and have added my name to the group on the Vipers forum of PH.

I have no intention of arranging the attendance for PHEA, as either Darren or John may wish to take this on (Darren has the details), but thought it worthy of a 'heads up' in case anyone is interested to going along. Please bear in mind that this is on an active US base and very strict rules will apply.

Fear not Ian!

I've emailed Keith asking a few questions and I'm waiting for a reply. Then I can get something up about it smile

Does anyone know if it's mainly old or new stuff at the show?

I'd be up for taking one of the vintage bikes up there - as it's just up the road - but don't want to turn up at a supercar show as I'd look a bit of a tit!
