It seems as though I was typing the announcement as you posted this! 
Sorry about a relatively late posting! Hopefully everyone received an email, too - although this time I think I've successfully used the "Blind Carbon Copy"

The way I always used to deal with these emails was to set up a 'ghost' address book entry for 'all PHers' but with my email address as the contact, so in affect the email was sent to myself. Then add the groups PHEA 1-4 that are in the address book I sent you in the 'Bcc' box (I used to sent 2 emails with PHEA1 and PHEA2 in one and PHEA3 and PHEA4 in the other). This always seemed to work okay.
sorry if this is aready what you are doing Darren, but it does appear that not all the group are receiving the emails which could spell trouble doing the events season.
