Cars on the Green car show.....
Discussion
Right then guys, we at Bury Retro Ford are now releasing the application forms for our annual show.... Cars on the Green..... plus other vehicles. It will be held initially on the 26th April at New Green, Thurston, B.S.E. There will also be things going on on the saturday, i.e a Disco/band in the centre with BAR, the facility to camp over is there too.
Again this year the only charge we are making is for those wishing to camp at a price of £10 per car, for the show itself it is FREE to exhibit and visit, all we will be asking for is donations. ALL profits will be split amongst charities, namely EACH (East Anglia's Children's Hospices) Cancer Research UK Ltd and Help for Heroes.
Last year was our first show and we had an attendance of over 250 cars and donated over £700 to EACH, this year we would like to hit 400 cars. A few from here came along last year and were pleasantly suprised at how good the weekend was for a first time effort. We also got a 4 page feature in Retro Ford magazine!!
Anyone wishing to book in or for more info, please e-mail me at lee@buryretroford.co.uk and i'll get back to you as soon as i possibly can but ALL e-mails will be replied to.

I'm too busy taking the booking details and planning the day itself to be involved with too much but if she does show up, i'll be keeping an avid eye out!!! lol

woooooo she is scary!
I'm going to pop along for a look (at the cars) and drag my Dad along (it's his birthday and I'm such a nice son ).
I know this event clashes with the monthly meet, but as Stanton and Thurston aren't that far away maybe, you could get Darren to organise a trip to Thursaton after dinner?
