RAF Marham track day
Discussion
Worry not, it'll get posted up here as soon as the organisers have confirmed the dates and arrangements with the forum co-ords, so keep your eye on it. PHEA is by far the biggest contributor, so will certainly hear about it at the same time as everyone else.
Late April is the favourite, but any dates being bandied around at the moment until they are conformed should only be regarded as provisional - don't look on anything as firm yet, as much depends on the Stn's work plot getting firmed up, which as you know can change....

This is a popular event. If you keep me posted Mark I'll make sure it's stickied and added to the PHEA Calendar as another event for 2009
Would love to see some of the PHEA regulars thrashing round Marham, would be quite a sight seeing Darren blatting around chasing after the Trevors Shame about the paintwork

Count me in chaps - although will be in the Integrale not the Lambo as I'm told a lot of loose stones on the circuit.
One of my mates took an M3 last October time. By his own admission he really give it some - He then had to totally respray the whole front end. His wife still doesn't know
Hmmm

I don't think Mercs like track work! Shame about the paintwork
HOWEVER.....I may possibly have a new car very soon, which will be far more "track friendly"
If things work, they'll be more news later - suffice to say that someone may need to teach my how to "heel and toe" correctly

I,d love to have a go, but no way can I justify it when I know it will mean a front end respray after the event. Shame about the paintwork

I heard the organisor of the event mention this last year, tbh he made it sound like the M3 was driving directly behind and way too close to other cars so it was expected. One of my mates took an M3 last October time. They swept the track last October and it did seem a lot better. Why dont you apply the protective film to the front of your car this time as a protectant?
