It is that time of the month, where the pub meeting needs to be planned.

This month, we shall be trying the new Northern venue of The Woolpack in Terrington St John, just off the A47, west of Kings Lynn. MAP LINKY HERE
I've chosen this venue for the start of the year, as the Christmas meal was held at Southern venue, so I think it's only fair smile
The meetings will remain the last Sunday of every month, so this month it will on Sunday 25th January
We shall have the usual meeting time of 12:30pm, for 1pm food time! lick

I spoke to the landlord today, and he seems able to cater for us. He said he had not long taken over the business.
I've booked for 15-20 places, but that chap said he can be flexible.
The Cavery is the main theme of the Sunday meal, it being £7.95. Vegetarian options are available smile
Desserts for the cavery are an addition £4.25 each.

I think that's all I need to mention, so if you could add your name to the list if wish to attend, so I give the pub a rough idea of attendees, that would great thumbup
With a new year, let's see if we can get some faces to join us regulars at the monthly pubs meets biggrin

Happy new Year to all. New Year and new car on the cards. The TVR went today, saw her drive off for the last time. A bit sad but time to move on. The new car is paid for and V5 exchanged, just waiting for the top man to finish the paint job and for a few very helpfull folks lending a hand. Thanks to them you know who you are.

Hope to see you there in the new one if not it will be the E30 or Alfa.

See you there.

'Fraid that's too near the Arctic Circle for me, but I hope it goes well and you have a good turnout smile (Don't forget to sing the PH Song)

Yep I,ll be there ! It seems like ages since the Christmas meal. Thanks for arranging a Northern meet, it will seem strange not having a 2 hour (each way) journey to the meet.

Lets hope that we can get a reasonable turnout as its in the 'Artic Circle' !!

Darren do you want me to bring the big banner along to the meet so as we can do the 'handover' ?

I'm going to try to get down to this. I'll be living in the Midlands, so it will indeed be a 3 hour drive for me! Hehe.

Unfortunately I can't make this month as the Cerb will be in for its annual service and MOT. Look forward to the next one in the north though - I used to live in KL and drove to Ipswich daily so it will be nice to travel those roads again.

Hi Ian, yes I know sorry not trying to Dampen Darrens enthusiasm or his portable bbq, just found the actual location visa v north, amusing, its a good blat along the TOP of NORTH NORFOLK to The Western Borders,so if the weathers ok will probally fly to the far left hand corner for lunch!

ps. did you know that Norfolk is the largedt county in england in terms of you can travel the furthest distancein a straight line without leaving it?

If its the largest county then why don't we have 100s of people turn up for our meets, or is it people run out of petrol before they get there?

Righty, I have 12 on my list, and have booked for 15, just in case anyone else fancies coming along (or if I have missed anyone paperbag).

See you on Sunday!
