Independent service in Suffolk ?

I remember reading in the local Community News ( Halesworth area) a few months ago, an advertisement concerning a recently opened Mercedes independent workshop , highlighting the fact that if your Mercedes was in warranty , their service would not invalidate.

Anyone here know the name and address please?

AFAIK it's part of the EU block exemption ruling - but could be proved wrong.

I'm guessing they correlate being VAT registered with being reputable, even though it's not always the case.

He's nearer Stowmarket than Needham. He also does good deals on tyres.

I'm not sure who you mean in Suffolk, but I can highly recommend Autotechnic Mercedes-Benz Specialist in Loddon, Norfolk. (They are about 30mins from Halesworth)
We have had 2 cars serviced by them for years, and it's a top notch service by the 2 ex-Robinsons Mercedes mechanics.

Yes, I've used Autotechnics for my ML for 3 years now. Excellent service, no problems and much cheaper that Robinsons.
The ML is booked in the week after next for a service and MOT.
