Stamford Car Show. Sunday 24th August.

Well only two and a half weeks to this show now, so time to get some organising done.

The PHEA roadshow has attended this show for the last couple of years now. The setting is lovely, right in the middle of Stamford and the weather is usually excellent.

The show is organised by the Stamford and District Round Table, there is a website here, which will ell you a little more about the event.

So who would like a space on the PHEA stand this year then ? Any questions ask away.

I have added a list below with those on that I know are coming, so please copy this list and add yourself to it if you wish to join us.

Ian This will be the first time I've been to an event with the PH East Anglian guys. Are there any special arrangements or do I turn up on the day and ask to park with you? (I've already got my pass from the show organisers)

We normally meet up at Tallington and convoy in together to the show, but if you are not able to make that then just turn up and park up with us on the day. If you can drop me an email via my profile I will add you to my Stamford group. I will send out an email with times and places to the group a few days before the show.

I'll meet you there cos I'm coming from Rutland which is the other side of Stamford to Tallington (would have been ok a couple of years ago when I lived in Market Deeping though!)

Duddington is the best bet at the moment.

Guys

If you turn up on your own, just let the marshalls on the gate know that you want to join the Pistonheads cars and they should point you in the right direction (if I remember to tell them!). As it stands, you will probably be in the same location as last year - turn left as you enter the field and keep going until you cross the tarmac footpath. Then turn Right and park up next to the river on the far side of the field.
