Thinking of doing an evening of karting......

Anyone fancy it? i will arrrange it all. we could do either individual races or a big endurance race with teams....

Let me know what you think of it......

Are you an old BDKC racer ? clap
I used to race 100C and 110B then ICA back in mid nineties.
Back in the days when men were men and pansies were flowers.
Nick Harper used to feed his kart on raw meat (and have some hisself).

I'd be interested. Either Teams or Induvidual Sprints would be good.

I tried organising a team endurance last year on here but it ended up as a induvidual GP due to lack of teams. Still got a good turn out for the GP format though.

ok next question is everyone happy doing one evening becaus ethe next weekend slot isnt available until mid may!!!

if we aimed for something like thursday the 17rd of april..... giving me nearly a month to arrange....

i think as soon as i can get a date booked up we'll do it by the amount of people we can get along work out which would be better i.e. grand prix or teams...

by the way guests are more than welcome.....

New track extension at ellough looks top, If we can get enough people an endurance is better than sprint i think, especially in pro karts

Count me in

Ok well i think an hour and a half endurance is £130 per team.... (i will hopefully be able to arrange a discount but take it as this atm)

if i say sort you own teams.... have as many or little drivers in your team as you mish but you must make a minimum of 5 stops. so 6 people per team would make it nice and even....

problem with that is we would need a minimum of 7 teams to make it viable for EP.

so if i say take this away with you and see if you can get some teams together....

if not we will jsut run it as a full grand prix = qualifying, 3 heats + final.....

im not sure about pricing on that one but i would guess about £45 per person but obviously you would get a lot more time on the track....

if that's not your cuppa char we could always make two 15 min races for everybody meaning its about £35....

so the decision really is with you.

Dates depending, you can count me in, Tim!
There was a karting event arranged last year, and that was a laugh, so I don't think you could go wrong with something like this thumbup
I've never heard of this Karting place, let alone visited it, so if I lose, that's why (May as well get the racing driver excuses in early!) wink

Thanks,
