Just had a quote from Adrian Flux to put my current "on the bench" 2.0 zetec into the escort.

Currently pay about £650 for 10 month policy

AF quoted £900 for a year with NIG.

I like flux because they are local and english call centre!

Who else is good?

A-plan seem to be giving really good quotes at the minute and have nice people in their call center (whenever I called them).

I got a quote from Adrian Flux for the modfications on my Merc.

OK, my driving history isn't great but they quoted me £3,028 - pretty reasonable considering. Insurance on my Dad's policy was £3,000 with Tesco when I was 19.
Confused.com quoted me "only" £500 more for a previous generation E55 AMG
But I agree on the local comments, and English call centres

Shopping around is fine to seek out a less expensive quote, we all do it I expect. But also remember about the quality of service if you need to make a claim. My previous broker gave me an reasonable quote which I took on but when I needed to claim for a broken drivers window, strewth what a bloomin carryon. I have since changed owing to the poor quality of service from that broker and am much happier where I am insured now. Good value too.

Try greenlight, they're pretty good for modded cars. When I put my supercharger on it only put 60 quid on my policy. My other mods didn't make any differance I just had to pay a £25 admin fee every time I changed something/s. They also do trackcover for £50 a day.

I always use Sureterm direct they are at Godmanchester, always very polite on the phone always answer very quick, No foriegn call center, they may be able to help ,Just had my renewal for the Westfield , fully comp for me and Shirley £113.79. must be worth giving them a try.
