Any peugeot 306 GTI-6 owners in Norfolk?

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a 306 GTI-6 and thought it would be worthwhile talking to somebody who has one and possibly meeting up for a short ride (i'm not expecting a drive, although if anyone is feeling extra nice it would be appreciated!).

I'm trying to find as much out as possible about the car before I take the plunge as it will be quite a significant financial outlay for me (I'm only 21 so insurance will be £1k a year!)

So if anybody owns one, or knows of a friendly chap / lass who does, and wouldn't mind meeting up for a quick blast and a pint of coke please get in touch! I live about 10 miles east of Norwich by the way.

Hey Bernie!

It may be worth looking up a chap called Johnny Stokes on facebook. (Johnny Detroit is his FB name, and he'll be listed in the Langley group.)
Although he doesn't have one anymore, he ran one for a few years. May be worth asking him about them. He was 18ish when he owned his, so could be also worth asking which insurer he used, and how much he paid.

They seem nice cars, and certainly rather brisk!

I have met Johnny at various parties over the years but are you sure his was a GTI-6? I seem to remember talking to him about it and it being a D-Turbo because he couldn't get insured on the GTI-6.

He had a GTi-6 after the Turbo Diesel, I'm pretty certain
