I followed a fabulous A.M. Vantage this afternoon on my way to Attleborough, altho he pulled off the road somewhere before Attleborough. Lovely British Racing green and looked like cream interior. What a fab' car.yum

By the by I was in my modern so I could keep up, cos he was'nt trying either.

That's quite a good area for Astons - they have a dealership at Long Stratton I believe

yes They do indeed, John. Stratton Motor Company is an Aston and Lotus dealer. Last time I checked, they had a couple of Bentleys for sale and an XJ220 lick

One of my friends was in Long Stratton yesterday and saw an AMV8. He said he had his windows closed and his music on and could still hear the V8 soundtrack!

i was in attleborough last saturday visiting DSN classics and getting my sump helicoiled at the Skoda garage, and on the way in there was a convoy of about 7 or 8 evos of various descriptions coming out of town. i guess it was a club meet of some sort on their way out for the day.

If anyone's going to cane the nuts off my Aston, I'd rather it was me.

The dealer next door to our friends at Scole Engineering always seems to have a couple of Aston's in. I try desparately hard not to dribble over them when I have a gander.

I too have stood there (looking at a DB7 Volante for £35K) and thought 'Now if I sell both my cars, and find another £10K from somewhere...' But it would have to be my only car, and I don't fancy going shopping with it, and it wouldn't have the character of the Griff - but the badge is very nice. Bah and dammit

Trading up to an Aston from a 1904 Bickers-Gudgeon could be a record!

I had a little race with a AMV8 (on a private road and they are fast cars! It was very close but he just had the legs on the monaro.

Above all else is the noise they make at cull chat... cloud9

Bloody hell, you've pulled! Maybe I need a Sefton Briggs as well.. what year is best? The models from 1908 onwards had extended chain helmings, which I think is a nice touch.

I went up there over the xmas period to have a look around at the Elise 190 series 1. Nice track car but a bit tires looking for me. I did have a sit in the Jag 220 - what a difficult car to crawl into.

So I left it and went back to the Griff.
