Had my shopping basket booked in today for an MOT but find the garage closed. No signs up giving any reasons and Jason nor Vince called me to let me know MOT cancelled. All very strange and considering we are talking here of Vince and Jason exceptionally unusual. Anybody heard anything??

Dave, John,

I suspect you'll find that they were at Autosport today.

They were certainly alive and well on Monday when I popped in.

At Autosport, are you serious?

Strewth, I drove down to the garage twice, waited outside like a tit for half hour in the morning, been phoning them most morning and you tell me they are at a jolly furious

Only joking, just be pleased to learn they were not closed for any serious reasons.

WHAT!???! I am sorry, have I read this right..?

IHMO, ANY company who books ANY customer in for ANY work, decides to SWAN OFF and do something else and DOESN'T let said customer know disserves to close down. If they treat customers like your good self in that way, they wont be around for much longer anyway.

The arrogance is astonishing...

Thanks for letting me know. I definitely will NOT be ‘booking’ my car in.

They are sound fellows, but as they attract more work than they can do, they've never had to observe the usual rules of professionalism (in the nicest possible way!). They are engineers/mechanics, not sales/marketing experts. If they had a girlie to answer the phones 24/7, it would simply put prices up, so we accept it as they do a good job.

Hmm, poor show Scole.

Sure, pretty girls cost money but even engineers can keep a diary by the phone. How hard is that?

Hey Ho, last thing I wanted to do was put in a negative for Scole Enginnering. Jason spoke to me this morning and could'nt have been more embarrased and apologetic. He made an error in not postponing my MOT appointment, we all make errors now and again and I am not really that fussed over this one. They do provide a top service at very fair prices and this is the first time in 3 years that I have hit a problem ( I run 5 vehicles ) I still give a thumbs up to Scole.

Used loads of Garages and they might not be the quickest but they are the best garage I have dealt with bar none.

If you have a problem tell Jason or Vince.

scratchchin I sometimes think that we are sometimes too quick to criticise and slow to praise…

Following SIMPO TWO's suggestion that I give SCOLE ENGINEERING a try for servicing the TVR Griffith 500, I am delighted to report complete satisfaction!

Jason & Vince at SCOLE appear to have a genuine enthusiasm and interest in their cars and customers and I believe this was reflected in the attention to detail that they provided whilst servicing the Griffith. Clearly these people are not only experienced mechanics, but are also able to conduct their business with a sensible level headedness that is an absolute “breath of fresh air”.

I have no hesitation in recommending SCOLE to my friends at PISTONHEADS, TVRCC, Club Triumph and the TR Drivers Club and will pass on the good news!

Contact details for SCOLE are at www.scole-engineering.co.uk

Finally, SCOLE are very welcome to use this note as an unsolicited plaudit. thumbup

Thanks from Toffer!
