First day of the new year and I bagged my first road kill, female phesant decided to cross the road via my tyre, didnt even get the chance to put my foot on the brake when I heard the crunch, looked into the rear view mirror and their were enough feathers to stuff a pillow flying in the air!!

Got 3 last year and a pigeon, any advances?

(not including any sickos who aim/ accelerate for them)

worked in summer for 3 months in the sticks.

on the road at 6am. those pidgeons are the most dozey fcuking birds i know!!

absolute kamikaze birds!! eek

now those crows/rooks know how to get out of the way!!

i modded my grille and within 3 days, i had TW@ted a pidgeon!!

made a right mess of it!!

hit a female black bird with my windscreen in october too.

and i was close to hitting a monkjack coming back from work in summer too.

I got a blackbird with the Smart. yes Can't believe the little car goes quick enough to collide with a flying bird.

No pheasants for me last year, but a couple of pigeons, a good dozen rabbits (possibly more) and I "nudged" a deer in a curtesy car driving

That's what happens when you all live out in the sticks

No hits for me, apart from a pidgeon, which glanced off the windscreen last year.

Some one did manage to run over our cat though, a couple of days before Christmas
It was a bit of a shock when I walked the dogs that night, only to come across a dead cat by the side of the road and then realising it was ours.

Not a very pleasant job scooping it up and burying it in the garden the next day.

tuxman managed to get a deer in his Westfield a few years ago - that was slightly hair raising. He was most upset when the gamekeeper shot it and took it home for his tea!

managed to bag me a big male pheasant this morning on my way to Banham car boot sale, luckily my scud is made of stern stuff and apart from a few stuck on feathers no other damage was done.

I remember when I first got my M3 - I was 'trying' out 4 gear, I hit a sparrow (I think) at around 135mph (of course I was not on a public road)it didnt really bouch off but exploded on my widscreen! I was surprised it didnt smash it. Needless to say my mate in the passanger seat was not to happy with was was in front of him!
