**Felixstowe Run - Sunday 7th May 2006
The premier road run in East Anglia for vehicles over 30 years old. Last year 500 vehicles took part. Vehicles gather in Christchurch Park ready for the start of the run at noon, then line up on the Felixstowe promenade all afternoon. A totally free event for the public!
Entries for the event have now reached 500, which is effectively the maximum number that can be accommodated on the prom at Felixstowe. **
Chap here will be doing the run on his BSA Golden Flash. First vehicle off at noon. Might take longer than 10 minutes, some of the older vehicles need that amount of time just to get up the Woodbridge Road hill.

Thanks, Although the weather doesnt sound too encouraging, my kids love this event, last year there were a couple of proper vintage cars there (1 was steam powered), not to mention a tidy lotus europa. its nice to get up close in the park before they leave (although if it's raining it might be better to catch up with them on Felixstowe sea front).

Sounds nice but I don't think many of us here would qualify! Well there's always 'Crankedup' of course
Yes your right John, I shall be representing P.H. on the run with good old Austin 12/4. Unfortunately I have not got the Bullnose Morris running yet other wise it would have been used, his capable of 50mph you know, or so some say
If any PH'er would like to join me you are most welcome. I shall be leaving my home in Occold at 8.30am sharp.

Cutting it a bit fine, aren’t you?

incidently my Brother will be going too, he will be on his beezer 350 single. Can't remember the model tho.
