Pistonfest this Sunday 30th.

Right then, in place of our monthly meet a day visit to Pistonfest at Snetterton is proposed. Entry on the day is £10 per person and no limit on numbers or parking, so who,s up for it then ? See here : www.pistonfest.com
The plan would be to arrive at Snetterton about 12.30pm. I had thought that a meeting point could be arranged at possibly Thetford for 11.45am or similar followed by a blat
along the A11 (mind the speed cameras) to Snetterton. Anyone know a suitable meet point at Thetford ?

I would say the Sainsbury/Focus car park would be a good meeting point, usually loads of space in there and its just off the A11 (first turning into Thetford coming from Mildenhall!) The only problem is it will be hard getting out of in a big convoy!
I won't be there Sunday as I'm playing football in the morning, I may pop over Sunday afternoon if not I hope to get there Monday! What time does the 2CV race start?

Click on the big orange advert, or on the link at the bottom of every page which says www.pistonfest.com. It's the annunal national PH event and there will be hundreds of PHers from all over the country there.
I think the Sainsburys/Focus car park at 12 noon is a good bet. (its the first roundabout after Elveden after Mildenhall on A11 that takes you into Thetford)
I will also suggest taking the convoy out, turning left (so we all get out at once!) then up the back roads to Sneterton. Should only take 20 mins and will be more fun than plodding up the A11.
I guess many of you will have just got Simpo's e-mail about this, so can those in favour on this time and place say "I"
