Discussion
Shrugging off rain and personal interest, a gang of intrepid PHers selflessly set out today to test the Gardener's Arms (Tostock) on your behalf, and are hereby pleased to award it the status of 'PHEA Gathering Pub'

Hi Crankedup sorry to hear about your misfortune hope it wasn't too serious, If I can be of any help give me a shout, Steve.
Thanks Steve, I'm OK, just walking slower than usual and with certain parts of my anatomy gone from a pinkish tone to a very very blackish blue hue
Cannot / dont want to say what body parts are affected, suffice to say that a concrete filled steel post embedded into the middle of a narrow footpath in a dimly lit area and OMG I'm in A&E.
Question is everyone says I should sue the Council, perhaps I should consider this

Well, put it this way: if you stuck a concrete-filled metal post into the pavement, the Council would sue you whether anybody walked into it or not. I'd say it was a definite hazard - as you just proved, unfortunately.
