Thank You from Ian Beech's Family
Discussion
I have just spoken to Gussie and she would like to thank everyone for their support and all those who came to the funeral. She said the amazing convoy of cars and all the friends from Piston Heads "meant the world" to her and her family and would have also meant a lot to Ian.
She wants to thank John (simpo two)specially for all the arrangements and for taking her in his Griff and for Chris and Steve for taking her children. It was exactly what the family had wanted. She also commented on the Pistonheads flowers (in the shape of the blue Chimaera) and has gone back to see them a couple of times. She asked me to thank John for the book of all the Pistonheads tributes which have given great comfort to her and the children. She said she is sorry that she feels she didn't get the chance to speak to and thank everyone. I hope I have conveyed how touched and appreciative she is.
Lastly, she says she would like to attend future events as she wants to be where Ian's friends are.

It's nice to know that.....anything we can do to make life better for her would be a pleasure for any of us. Ian was such a nice person, that for him to be forgotten and Gussie to disappear would be a pity. She made us all so welcome into their home under such terrible circumstances, it was a credit to her. I hope life brings her, Aaron and Ellie all something better over the coming years
