UPDATED 21 Feb
Dear All,
Thank you so much for all your kind and often moving comments on my last thread concerning Ian. Gussie and the children read them and it gave a lot of comfort to know that so many people thought so well of him.
FUNERAL: Tuesday 28 February. All PHers are invited. Please see my post on page 2 of this thread for all times and a map.
COLLECTION: As you may know Ian was a great fan of the Avro Vulcan; any donations should be sent to 'Vulcan to the Sky' www.tvoc.co.uk/index2.php This group is trying to get a Vulcan back in the air, and you can donate in Ian's memory by visiting their website and clicking on the 'e-donate' tab.
FLOWERS: If you wish to send flowers, please send to Gussie at her home address (quoted with permission here): 1, Cowslip Walk, Foxes Meadow, Wiggenhall St Germans, Norfolk PE34 3FD.
I'll be there on the day, along with PetrolTed and many of the PHEA crew, and I hope you can make it too (with large V8s if possible), to see Ian off in the style he wished for.
Thanks folks.
John

I assume that you will be coming up to Kings Lynn via the A10. I'll get back to you during the week.
Thanks Ian. As people will be coming from all directions I think it needs to be somewhere fairly close to Wiggenhall. Looking at the map, somewhere on the A10 to the west of Downham Market looks ideal - is there a handy Tescos etc?
I'll be coming up from the Ipswich direction, so for anyone who wants to join up earlier, I can schedule other minor RVs along the route, or people can just wait in a handy layby and tag on the back. Let me know if anyone's interested in this.

Sorry about the e-mail; my ISP has just been taken over so I guess they forgot to plug all the wires back in
The A10/A47 junction Tesco looks easy to find and would do, but I'd prefer the A10 further south near Downham Market if there's anything suitable there?
There's always the Little Chef on the A10 at Downham Market? Don't think there's much else out that way.

As long as you don't want anything to eat though!

as posted on other page
Thetford is not a bad gathering spot as would bring most people together, or there is a pub at the downham/kings lynn junction at Sdradset (large car park)
I'd be up for meeting in Thetford with anyone heading from that direction, then it's an easy drive to Kings Lynn and then the Tesco's in Lynn would be a good place to meet more before the final leg.
