"Newbie here - fancy a regular meet?"

Just found this page, thanks to a link I was kindly sent by Ian.

I live/work outside Stamford, and we go to The Carington Arms which is in Ashby Folville. If you don't know of it, its a great meet (hundreds of cars in summer), and takes place the second Tuesday of each month. But its a bit far to go, so we want to get something going more local.

Does anyone have any suggestions where we can start a regular meet in this area? Car access obviously important, and a car friendly landlord with a nice pint on tap wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Thanks, I got your message last night, and my home e-mail server was down. No doubt I'll pick it up at work, but I was going to suggest something on the lines of '..newbie here, anyone fancy a meet'.
