Midnight London tunnel run video now on PH.tv
Discussion
The "convoy" started to split up from the first lights - and quickly fragmented into small groups who then started getting lost or taking short cuts - but of course where ever we were, we would keep meeting up with the other mini convoys at various lights and junctions - we could hear the various "rackets" hooning down far off blocks!

Yep, nice video Ian I noticed from some of the photos that Keith was there in the red Ultima!
Have to say I found it hard work driving mine around London when I went one Sunday.

Were there really 200+ cars?
I know around 220 were down on the list to come but I reckon the drizzle would have put some off. Although the video doesn`t show it, the road leading down from Chelsea bridge (which was itself covered either side in exotica) was fully parked on both sides for as far as the eye could see.
With all the traffic lights and jams everywhere (fully expected of course) I would not personally have enjoyed taking the TVR around the early part of the run (probably even less so in your Ultima) and was quite happy dawdling around in the comfortable car - but that`s just our age showing I dare say!
Nice vid Ian ... I had done all of these now thats 3 Ive missed ...
Must be much more fun sitting in a pit chipping powdercoat off your chassis though!
Gee I Know how to have a good saturday night!
Putting the cerb back together tonight so back on the road with a little more
winter protection...
Take it easy out there - a few too many sad car smash tales at the moment!
