I should read these other posts and not just ignore them in future!

Muncher appears to be going, Ian - thinking of bringing out the video camera, after a few days in hibernation?

Maybe I'll go next year!

It`s the old footage that`s gone into hibernation - new footage will be taken at a moments notice!

Do you beleive in co-incidences?

Co-incidence 1

My neice lives directly on the route near Tower Bridge in a forth floor flat (I`d like to tell you it`s a Penthouse but I`d be lying!) which would be ideal for overhead shots and it just happens that it`s her birthday next week and for a long time now I have been considering taking her card by hand rather than posting and maybe midnight on saturday could be the time to do it!

Co-incidence 2

It`s my better halfs birthday on the 14th and I`ve been thinking of surprising her with a midnight drive around Londons landmarks - with a tasty sandwich provided at Stansted services rather than a slap up meal! What do you reckon?

Co-incidence 3

After a week of teenage woes, we`d both like to get as far away from them for a while as is humanly possible, but London would be fine!

Should be good fun with that amount of cars. Keep an eye out for Hoover's red Griff. It must be the loudest on the planet!

Gary

Looking forward to the video Ian

Just confirming we will definitely be going and my neice is putting us up for the (what ever is left of the) night!

I`ll do my best with the footage (with all those London land marks, it would be a waste not to) but could be a challenge in the dark!

He`d certainly be noticed as with a blown engine, he`d be pushing it!

Just got off the phone to the organiser about ideas for overhead shots at the Dome car park. Presently trying to get the keys to the gates!

Muncher - just realised (from a photo you put up) that we were right behind you several times and I have you on film! If any of the VX220 clan were wondering at one point "who the hell is that green Pug 406 that keeps getting in the way?" why it was me!

Well that was entertaining!

Not for those who have an allergic reaction to traffic jams and traffic lights (especially those of you who have a heavy clutch) but as an event, great fun!

Listening to cars getting lost down London side streets with all the echoeing sounds was just wonderful ( think "Italian job" ) - the tunnels were great if lucky to go through with noisy cars!

Due to drizzle, footage was limited but managed to film some from inside the car - the downside to that was some is no good as (having played it back) I`ve realised my wife was talking for England over several good clips

Got back at 5am and woke at 7:30am so I expect it to catch up with me later
