Hi all,

Is amy one from here going to the track day tomorow at Sculthorpe airfield? hoping for good weather to try the Ultima out, should be fun on the top speed run and standing start blast, slightly concerned about tyre wear, but what the !!!! it is for having fun.

Hi Ian,
Drivers booking in at 7.30 - 8.45, on track at 9.30 (times approx). They are running two track's and an auto test.

Good to meat you Ian, Managed to get 151mph during max out, the track was a bit slipery but we still had a fun day.

What was the track like Richard, Ian?

It was a bit slippery causing a few large cones to be damaged!!, there was quite a bit of loose gravel, most of which is now in the front! there was concern about stone chips but I havn't found any yet (they might be under the dirt!) stil it was a good day out and it is good to find out what the car does, oh and great fun powering through corners with the back stepping out.
From what I have writen it sounds rough but it isn't that bad! just remember it is an airfield and will wear tyres.
