6o/c, just got home.

Great day out, thank you to Ian for organising it.

Thought the lunch at the FF was excellent, nice to meet so many of the Pistonheads group.

Good run too, once we got the hang of it

Very accomodating at the factory, didn't think we would be allowed quite so much freedom to walk about.

Thanks to all for the company.

P.S. Dave...less of this Noble talk.....you know you have TVR flowing through your veins...

Great day out

Well done Ian for organising it all.

Good meal at TFF as usual and a lot of people I had'nt met before.

Sorry I took a few of you the wrong way! I think it's now become tradition that I get lost on these runs. That's the 3rd time in a row!!
Please don't follow me next time

Very friendly lot at the factory, I must say. Michael, the director there, was quite keen to nose around the Ultima. He even sat in it! Great cars, incredibly well made (The Mosler that is!). I was surprised to learn that they don't have a chassis as such. Very clever stuff!

Thanks again Ian.

Gary

Has Simpo two been banned from TFF after sitting where he should'nt at the last meet ?

A great season finale and very well attended by old and new. Good to meet all the usual rogues and I got to meet many new faces including Big-M, Valhalla and Seasider!

Although I organised it, the initial link that made it possible was by John75 so a big thank you to him. I must also thank Mike Rawlings, Stephene (is that the spelling we agreed on?!) and Racing Green for their hospitality plus other staff that made it a memorable visit.

Big thanks to Pauline (YP) for her word to Mike - it worked and I had that drive! I`ve got some video but isn`t too professional as the camcorder was all over the place, such was the ferocity of acceleration and a fair amount of sideways motion! Bl**dy marvellous! In fact the last four remaining, (Iluvmercs, Toffer and friend + me) all got a go! We talked for ages aftrer that and it was wonderful to see the real passion they have for a truly brilliant machine!

Pauline, you`ll soon get used to the Pistonhead way of hooning, that is the lead car slows down at a crucial junction to allow several through so that they immediately go "stage left" in order to get lost and then turn up later on having taken the scenic route!

For those that couldn`t make it today, you`ll be pleased to know that Mike Rawlings has asked me to ring him in the spring to organise another!

We almost had something of a proper Hoon on the way up from TFF, almost

Very surprised at how relaxed they were at letting us wander around the premises and a fascinating hour spent doing so.

Many thanks to the Ian and John for organising the event and look forward to doing something similar.

The Ultima does indeed sound superb - I can also now tell you with great authority that the Mosler did sound like a pussycat at tick over, but once those horses were unleashed, the sound was fantastic!

Everyone had a great time Sunday afternoon...especially me going sideways in the Mosler!

It was great to see such a good crowd on a rather damp afternoon.

I thought the "Beef Feast" reached even higher standards and quantities? Unfortunatley I am on a diet so had to leave half a cow!

Thank you Ian!
