Not used 'em personally (although my car was bought from them by the last owner), buy know several people who have & all has been OK.

Unfortunately I'm not in the market for one of their more elite cars. But I have been told they've got a decent example MX-5 which could pursuade me to part with some loose change for a bit of fun. Problem is it has no history and a slightly high mileage so wanted to go there knowing a bit more about the level of service I can expect.

Looking at their stock list though I wish I wasn't so poor for the minute, they've got some lovely looking older 911's and a very, very nice 2003 Ginetta G4 in metallic orange.

If anyone fancies loaning me £20k interest free I promise to enjoy myself!

I went there to view a 911/996 about two years ago, I found them to be quite rude, and made to feel I was in their way!

So I hope you have better luck.

Spoke to one of their guys yesterday to arrange a visit - couldn't have been more helpful - turn by turn directions, possibly too much detail about the car. I'll let you know impressions after I've been.

I have heard good things about them. I have phoned them a few times and they have always been helpful, I have never actually been there but from what I gather it is pretty much by appointment?? I did try finding them once (whilst out that way) but failed - I didn't have directions!

Paul is a thoroughly nice bloke and knows his Porsches pretty damn well.

One of the monthly Porsche magazines ran an article on the 964 powered 2.7RS clones he now builds, I’ve seen these and they are a real work of art.

I has a look at 993 TT S earlier in the year and found him to be honest and decent offering sensible money for mine against sensible money for his, couldn’t really ask for more than that?

A very good mate of mine and fellow Pistonheader has bought two cars from Paul and swears by him as well and when he comes to change will go back to him.

Another decent chap locally is Joff Ward at Finlay Gorham just outside Bury St. Edmunds. Joff knows his onions as well and is a great character to spend some time with. Very much out of the old school way of doing things

There is a new chap dealing in used Porsche in Boxted called Howard Watts, Howard has a lovely collection of Porsches to his name and is again a thoroughly honest chap.
