Blimey, its quiet on here nowadays, come back Darren; all is forgiven!

Is anyone else going to Sandringham Pageant of Motoring this Sunday?
Or will I be parked alone in a 100 acre field?

There was nothing to forgive, Darren deserved a well-earned break for all his years effort.

The fact that no-one stepped up is a shame, we tried to sort out a calendar for one year, but not enough people wanted to attend or no-one was available to arrange an event. It all fell apart after that. These days people use social media and just turn up to events, Cars and Coffee is a case in point, Chris does a great job arranging it and the event gets swamped as people share details around the socialmediaverse.

Forums are great for sharing specific car interest topics and events (MX5OC and Boxa.net are 2 good examples), but the general interest forum that is PHEA, seems to have had it's day.

It's a great shame, I abandoned 'social media' 8 years ago and have blocked all these not very social sites from my network. Too many raving loonies, trolls and scammers

But in answer to your main question, no I'm not going to Sandringham, but I will be at the next Cars and Coffee.
