I bumped into a Ferrari driver at the local Shell garage yesterday (not literally, I might add!)

He said he's booked in to drive there. Oct 2nd (I think)
Similar sort of thing to VMax.

Anyone know how to get in touch with them?
I never knew there was an areodrome there!

Cheers

I'm not aware of any airfields near Kings Lynn. I did come up with something that may point yuo in the right direction.

www.mgcars.org.uk/events/eventuk.html

They're running a trial near Kings Lynn on October 19th, perhaps they know.

There's RAF Marham, but they probably wouldn't let you hoon up and down the runway

In my Club Trekkie Ovalteenie days we had a couple of very informal blats at Eye Airfield off the A140 - wonder if they still do it?

On the 9th there's a trackday at Sculthorpe too.

If anyone goes to one and fancies a pint afterwards give us a shout as I'm only 3 miles away

Hi all,
Ive had an invite to this from the Cobra club, I thought it was just for the club, but it turns out it isnt, anyone can go. Its at RAF Marham on Sat and Sun 1-2nd of October. Prices are very reasonable too :

£30 Saturday - 3x20 minute runs
£60 Sunday - 6x20 minute runs
If Ian or John want more details to find out more I have the guys phone number who is organising it. Id have told you all about it earlier if Id have realised it was an open event, sorry, I just assumed it was for cobra owners, silly me!!

OK folks - just managed to talk to the organiser and time is very tight to book now. If you are interested, you should email me during Sunday 18th and I will forward you details of the event and your direct contact for advising car info etc. He MUST have all relevant info by Monday AM on 19th.

You will need a helmet minimum together with suitable ID (for entering base and taking part) as will any passengers.

Sunday has a host of Ferraris, Cobras etc, various bikes with just a few slots left.

Sunday sessions are £60.00 for minimum of 6 x 20 minutes.

Hi Simon,

Unfortunately, being an RAF base, there is no scope for more to attend now as the list has been closed. Everything had to be pre-sent including car particulars as well as personal identification which has to be proved on the day

Gary only just got in (to quote - "under the wire" last minute before the bookings were closed.
