Snetterton today anyone ?

Hi all

I know I've been away for a bit but I went to snetterton today to se the the monster TVR day. There was a few cars going round he track in cluding a filming session on the Sagaris with Michael Caine doing the drinving. ( not alot of poeple know that !)

He did a few doughnuts on the start finish line and got his knuckles rapped for leaving tyre marks all over the track.

There looked to be a few - improved - cars there which were all impressive.

TVR POWER were there telling everybody that they needed a supercharger fitted to their V8.

Mark Adams of Tornado Chip fame was supposed to be there but I saw no sign of his trade stand or the like.
All in all an enjoyable day especially the pint in The Angel down the road.

Did anybody else take a drive to the track ?

Not a TVR'er but have an Elise. Me and the wifey went along to see what was going on and ended up hanging around for a good few hours. The wife fell in love with the old powder blue coloured Tuscan?? and just about anything else with a TVR badge on.

They sound quite crap aswell don't they, can't hold a light to the growl of the old K series

Maybe if you bolt a couple of those K's together and cut the exhausts off and give them straight through pipes you may be getting along the right lines.
