Glemham Classics - photos
Discussion
As far as I know this was the first time PistonHeads has had a stand at this show, and it was well worth the queue to get in. It is not too small, not too big, but 'just right', with a relaxing ambience. We had nine cars on display to an interested public - three Astons, three MG-Fs, a Mustang Mach 1, a Renault 5 GT Turbo and an original Mini Cooper. Paul and his family brought a car each, made themselves at home and set up a handy table which made the place look very civilised! And to cap it all, the weather was absolutely perfect.
The PistonHeads stand:
Thanks to Mike for dropping the flag over.
Steve shows off the finer details of his engine to one of the many admirers:
V12 Vantage with MG-Fs:
And some photos of the rest of the show, in no particular order:
Is this a Mini underneath?
Thanks for viewing; hope you like them. I think that's the last Show for the year, and a very good ending it was. Thanks to all of you who attended, and we hope to see you again at future shows

Being as the photo is of me, rather than the car
Here's a couple of pics to make up for it...
The really pleasing thing in these photos is the faint green tinge from the
metallic paint. That's probably down to the clarity of the coating the car
wears. Since it was given the Octagon Treatment 3 years ago, the paint
is only cleaned with Optimum No Rinse, then given the occasional dressing
of Mist-Plus, from the ADS/Sentinel car care range.
Thoroughly enjoyed a great day out. I hope my wee beastie didn't upstage
you too much...
Regards,
Steve

Great 'photos is the red four seater in the background towards the end of your pic's a Peerless or a Warwick, I suspect a Peerless.
Can't help I'm afraid - but you can come next year and find out...!LowiePete said:

Not at all, it got people onto the stand and talking cars and that's what it's about you too much...
Regards,
Steve
We had a lovely day out, and we were made to feel very welcome which was wonderful. I only wished we had not made the school boy error of not bringing any chairs, but every day is a school day !
Thanks John for sorting it out, especially meeting beforehand, otherwise I would have never found where to park. Great photos and thanks for posting them.
Some great cars there, the highlight had to be the mark 4 Cortina!
Take it easy folks

It's definitely a Peerless GT Phase 2.

Thank you both, especially for the comprehensive history of the car. Nearly bought one once but chickened out once I actually viewed the car standing in about six inches of grass, I decided the skill required to bring it back from the dead was beyond my pay scale; but have always retained an interest in the marque. The open bonnet is the clue.
