Has this ever been done?

For those not familiar, its what topgear used to film this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZukTKnvCaow

I think you can hire out the beech to do 'fun' driving but you have to get advance approval...

sound like a good idea?

I head back to Swansea (Gower) to see my family several times a year from Ipswich, 300miles and 5 hours with a short stop. Pendine is a good hour to an hour and half past Swansea.

Precisely! I drove to Swansea once too, to see a cousin. You cross the Severn Bridge and think 'Right where is it? Must be around here somewhere!' No, you basically have to keep on going west almost to America to get to Swansea... spin

I am, it’s about 5 miles from our house so we know it well if any questions. Lotus Chinese at Pendine overlooks beach and has quite a view.

Autocross event on same weekend very close near by.

I keep forgetting that they've done the road now! Last time I was at Pendine was to see Babs run there for the first time since it was restored.....so quite a while ago.
