PHEA Roadshow: Suffolk Motor Show - Saturday 28th August

Hello everyone,

Following the recent Norfolk Cars & Coffee PHEA Visit post, I am delighted announce the next Event for us is Brand New Roadshow.

The Suffolk Motor Show at Worlington Cricket Club is to be held Saturday 28th August. (That's right, it's a Saturday!)

DETAILS
The show opens to the public at 12 noon and then ends at 4pm.
It promises to be a great day of cars, people and trade stands. I understand beer and cake will be available to perhaps tempt you, too

MEET
We shall meet at Red Lodge on the dead-end access road by The Pines Primary School - MAP LINK HERE.
It'll hopefully be out of the way for a Saturday morning and is a very short drive of the Worlington Cricket Club.
Meet time will be 10am for a 10:30am departure. This gives us a good time buffer to wait in the expectant queue and be in place by the deadline before the show opens to the public.

ENTRY
I have booked 26 spaces for this Roadshow. With a number already filled, please get in touch to book your space today
Entry is Free, however people will be walking around with donation buckets during the day. Please do give generously for the East Anglian Air Ambulance

No passes are required for this show, but I have been advised turning up as a single group will help the organisers and marshals on the day.

The show organisers have requested no site movement until 4pm. Thank you.

COVID-19 Note
While the legal government restrictions have now ended, please be mindful of any recommendations or suggestions which may still be in place at the venues we visit.
When outside if you prefer to maintain mask-wearing, social distancing and hand sanitising, please do. Additionally, if you still wish for a non-contact greeting please simply say so on the day. This way we will respect each others' wishes and keep everyone feeling safe and comfortable.
We ask that if you feel ill, please do attend the Event.
We also politely request this simple C-19 mention doesn't descend into Covid discussions and arguments across any of the PHEA platforms.

I'm fairly sure the Suffolk Motor Show has happened before, perhaps at a different venue. It's a new Roadshow for us, though

Thank you to everyone who made it along to this excellent day out!

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you all, chatting away and seeing your lovely cars as part of the PHEA Stand. Indeed the show as a whole had some superb machinery on show.
Thank you also the PHers who dropped by the stand to say "hello". A pleasure to catch up with you all

21 of us made it along in spite of the terrible weather first thing and the small couple of showers during the day. It was another varied display of superb PH machinery. In fact one of the cars seemingly took a shine to one member's car as the Eleanor Mustang won their "Best in Show" award! Congratulations!

It was such a great car day out that I've already spoken with the organiser about a return next year

As ever, I'll pop back to post a link to my photos from the day once I have uploaded them

Thank you again to everyone joining us for out first visit to this wonderful show!
