Evening all,

I've posted in the Essex/Kent section but as I'm actually near the Suffolk border (close to Sudbury but in North Essex) I wanted to ask in here as the response may be better.

I would be grateful for any recommendations (or places to avoid) for setting up the geometry and, if possible, corner weighting my Ariel Atom. I know what geometry settings I like/want, I just need somewhere that knows what they are doing. I'm willing to travel a "reasonable" distance if there is nowhere suitable relatively local, am open to any suggestions.

Many thanks in advance smile

Check out Hangar 111 based at 8b Seven Acres Business Park, Waldringfield, Woodbridge, IP12 4PS. 01473 811811. Greg and Marianne also own Scholar Engines.

Hangar looked after our Lotus Elise Sportsracer, which we used for many track days.

I had the geo checked on my car last year and as usual was happy with everything.

Checkout Michael Cleverley at Stradboke 01379 384046, he has a full geo rig and facility to measure all 4 corner weights. We're taking our MX5 for a full get setup once we've finished the adjustable damper setup.

Not local but worth the trip is centre gravity.

Took my tuscan there and they really made it the very best it could be.

Not just geometry but setting ride heights, tyre pressures and actually checking everything which matters is right.

I thought i knew which settings i wanted but drove out with a car sitting higher and significantly different geo.

Its now a tuscan which can be chucked down a B road with confidence smile

Agreed. Took my Cayman there a few years ago.. sounds cliché but it genuinely transformed the car. The next 'serious' car I own that needs geo work I would certainly be making the 6 hour round trip to them again.
