Just a heads up for this. Was a good event last year with plenty of interesting metal. There were even two Ultima's there.

It's a very friendly event, no need to pre-book, just turn up on the day. If you're driving something interesting, you end up getting waved into the display field.

There's food, music and a very relaxed atmosphere. Last year there was a run in from the services just off the A1 over to Maxey. Recommended.

Any chance of a sticky Ted?

Hi Rob,

Looks a good show, I will try and get along this year. I'm only a few miles away near Spalding.

That was me in the yellow GTR. I have this year in my diary too. I might even make the run in (organised by Simon was it not? - just make it a sensible time).

The run in is organised by Practical Classics. It's meeting between 9.00 and 9.30am at the Extra services off Junction 17 of the A1, near Peterborough. Plenty of interesting cars on the run.

I'm hoping to go again this year with the East Anglia Tiger Owners. Will pop over to the PH area and say hi, if you're round by the Tigers mine'll be the best looking Black Super Six there (probably the only black Super Six there though).

Anyone know if the run to Maxey is the same route, taking in Burleigh house again?

Sounds tempting and as the other half will be at work I may well be up for coming along.

Even I can make it this year. Look out for the Green Pug 406 with a PH and Rockingham sticker in the rear window.

Ok Simon, stop rubbing it in. It was only because they could not split the prize between two identical yellow GTRs!

Well done.

Nice one pb3

How about this car yesterday? Taken by pb3.

Fitted with a V12 engine from a Jag XJR.
I bet it's a real handful in the wet!!!

PB3 - gtr-gaz - yellow is one of those marmite colours - you either love it or hate it (p.s. my Cupra's yellow)

Well done Tuxman and Hornie!

Bad luck to GTR-GAZ and PB3 - perhaps with the poor weather the judges felt sorry for the red one with no roof!
