........to own and drive one of Blackpools "Bullets" but sad to say our TVR Chimaera is off to pastures new:(

It really has been wonderful to have had this experience for the last 2.5 years but other priorites have come to the fore including our house move and hoped for trip to New Zealand later in the year. If all goes to plan, we will be looking for a 5 litre next winter/spring - but in the meantime we will be going to Helmingham etc so hopefully you`ll still talk to us!!;):hehe:

Blimey Ian, I can't imagine life without a TVR. I hope you find travelling by bus to your liking.

From the photo it looks like you've sold the wife as well. Did you get a good price?

No buses yet - but we are down to just two cars now! Did I get a good price? Have you seen how many are for sale at the moment. All things taken into consideration we got just under what we hoped for - Gussie wasn`t included and neither was her reg plate!

Toffer, what can I say about the Griff?!

Sorry to hear the news Ian. I was just speaking to John regarding Helmingham, and mentioned that I would probably follow you down from this area. Hope your not to long without. Hows the house hunting going?

Hi Ian, the house hunting/selling seems to be challenging!!

It`s a shame about the car but we will get another - and it`s not like it was one of the family, and the garage isn`t "echoey" without it.

BTW I think "Griffophenia" is going from our neck of the woods - give him an email

Hi Ian.....
Sorry to hear about the sale of the Chimaera.....but sounds as if it's all for a good cause.....

Thought we might catch up if you were going to the TVR Sunny Hunny meet at Hunstanton on the 24th July.

Will you be popping over anyway?

Hi Pauline, yes I`ll come up for that, I`d love to see your new wheels! Do you have the rough times and where will you actually be parking?

I`ll be coming up in either a 406 or a Picasso but will hide it well out of the way!!

We will miss the old girl but once sorted will have another!

We are parking on the green in the town near the bandstand.
Jerry's done a great job and it looks like there will be loads of TVRs there.

When I get definate times I'll post up again.

Will be good to have a natter mate.
