Watch out in Suffolk
Discussion
Charitable folk that they are, Suffolk plod is out in force to catch people as they emerge blinking into the sunshine.
Saw at least 3 speed traps on the A14 (vans and cars) on Tuesday and another today (hairdryer) so be careful.
By contrast you can drive halfway across Canada and not see a single police car. Amazing!

It's a sad way to earn a living isn't it. I'm sure when they joined the police force they wanted to be a detective, fight crime etc. And there they are stuck in a van all day, or hiding in a hedge.
I would normally agree but we have had some tts driving at ridiculous speeds through the village. One dick in an Audi (what else?) has repeatedly been doing at least twice the speed limit. Not been through for a few days so hopefully he ended up in a ditch somewhere ...Simpo Two said:
It's a question of scale. 124 in a 40, fair enough. But 35 in a 30 in the country is silly, and I think Her Majesty's Finest, if asked out of uniform, would agree.
Also out in Lakenheath even the Speedwatch team and parish council are annoyed by the 30 mile limit running at least 3/4 mile out of the village since planning determined they were going to build a school on that stretch. Certainly a limit where the school is but for Heaven's sake, wait until you've at least started building it...CDP said:

I've cycled along that road many times, plenty of drivers mistake it for the runway....!Gassing Station | East Anglia | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
