Just taken the MX5 off the road for April, May and probably June, we were taxing it monthly anyway so it makes sense to save the cash. Shame, but I’m not going to be using it until the restrictions are lifted and PH events start rolling again.

I’ll just have to run it out of the garage every week to get the oil circulating and to take the dust off it.

Any of you doing the same?

I think this is all I'll be doing for a the parents' cars for the foreseeable. I might have to wash them, too, though wink

I've not SORN'ed my cars, but they may as well be: They were away for repairs when all this kicked off.
Even with the mechanics operating, the parts supply is affected so it's a bit of a guessing game as to when I'll be seeing them again.
Just as well we don't have any PH bits going on spin

To be honest, I'm quite happy to wait for key workers cars to take priority thumbup

I'd like to SORN my boat, but the jackals who run the river say we still have to pay.

3 out of 4 on Sorn,
Only the Hi Lux on the road as those Crutches i currently use mean thats the only thing i can drive.
Not out much with that, Shop, Hospital, Doctors and the odd trip to work (yes am a keyworker) and thats it.

A strange world currently

And to cap it all, I’ve been grounded by the NHS, I got a text yesterday telling me to stay in for 12 weeks and registering me as vulnerable ( doesn’t sound like me ). Hey ho, so my lady wife now has to go out and brave Morrisons every week, poor girl.

Hibernation time methinks.

I had sorned all but my little Renault Twingo GT until the mini heatwave was announced so I put the long mothballed Boxster on the road for my essential journeys to the workshop on nice days

Sagaris should have been un-Sorned on April 1st, but is staying SORN'ed for now. Woken her up from her winter slumber, and run her up and down the farm drive until up to temperture a few times

Now un-SORNed as of yesterday June 1st smilesmile

Going to be taking my Golf GTI off the road tomorrow night and not going to bother bringing my E36 onto it. Simply can't use either car and looking set to be off work for at least another few months unfortunately.
