PHEA Meet: SSM - Thursday 29th August
Discussion
Hello everyone.
I am delighted to announce our next Social Summer Meet, or SSM, and indeed our FINAL SSM of 2019!
Following last month's successful SSM, management are happy for us to continue with this final informal meet of the year!
Once again, we must ensure everyone arrives and departs in a restrained manner and the meet isn't subject to great sharing on public social media.
We want to continue to work with the Snetterton management, not wishing to jeopardise their licensing nor the successful working relationship our friendly PHer has with MSV.
So again I ask you to please arrive and depart in an orderly, quiet manner with no excessive revving or noise during our meets. After all, we all want these enjoyable events to continue in the future. Thank you
This SSM will take place on Thursday 29th August, during the evening track session at the Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk - MAP LINK HERE.
These SSMs are basically an excuse to join your fellow PHers for a good catch up and watch the track action
The creation of these SSMs has been purposely timed with Snetterton's Evening Track Sessions to also encourage some extra folk to head out on this wonderful local circuit. So if you're considering trying it, please do take the opportunity to get out there in the company of your fellow PHers
It helps us justify our SSMs if we have some of you to spectate
Should you wish to get out on track, you can book via the MSV website BOOKING PAGE HERE
BEFORE you do this, a "fasteddys" discount may be available. As this the first SSM is relatively early in the season, the discount will be subject to numbers. To obtain this discount, you must please contact fasteddy through his PH Profile HERE, and then book with MSV over the phone.
The Meet will begin around 4:30pm and end at about 8-8:30pm dependant on daylight, as the track time ends.
I cannot be specific as to our exact location within the pit area, so please look out for any cars with the "fasteddy" stickers and "GEE" on the registration.
Entry to spectate at the circuit is FREE, but obviously track time will incur costs.
Track time is also subject to the usual track day necessities: long leg & sleeve clothing, helmets, signing on, safety briefing and noise testing. Signing on is from 3:30pm, briefing is at 4:30pm.
You are free to arrive and leave whenever you wish, but please adhere to the site speed limits and watch for pedestrians and other cars' movements.
Tyrells Cafe will be open for business.
So please Join us for this year's Final SSM
While you can still decide on the day, but if you know for certain you'd like to join us already please add your name to this thread or message me directly so we can keep Snetterton informed, should numbers get large enough
We hope to see you there!
Darren

Thank you to everyone who came along to our final SSM of the year.
A good handful of us came out to watch the track action, have a good catch up and enjoy the lovely, warm evening.
It was an thoroughly enjoyable evening, and a good excuse to get out and about
As usual, I snapped a few photos, a link for which I add here once they are online.
Thank you also for everyone's support of the SSMs throughout 2019. I can't believe they have now finished for the year already! Roll on 2020
See you all again soon
